Music/MP3 Downloads

Options
Hi all

I am looking for a good site to download MP3 singles and albums from? I dont really want to use iTunes because of the protection. Basically I want a cheap site, that I can use the songs on multi players/platforms/mp3 players

Any help would be much appreciated :D

There isn't any DRM on music purchased from iTunes.

You can use them on any device that supports AAC files.

There's no DRM on music or podcasts on iTunes, there is on video content though.

The main issue with iTunes is that it uses the AAC file format insteadof MP3. So if your player doesn't support AAC you have to convert to MP3 which I believe you can do from within iTunes.

There's an article here comparing iTunes and Amazon
