Hi Matt, an SOA is supposed to be what you spend on essential living. It's not about trying to embellish the figures. So many posts on SOA's with different figures. We want to help you of course and SOA working out is so confusing especially when you relise that after living like a pauper for years you actually are allowed a more comfortable life and that's the kind of help we want to offer here.
Yesterday you mentioned girlfriend earnings of £2500 but just contributes £619 with you footing the bill for every thing on a much lower wage.
I am very sorry to be blunt and also apologise if i've made a mistake in understanding but I needed to explain this to you as I fear you're going to get into a bit of trouble with the OR.0 -
Hi All
I am very sorry for the confusion. I actually confused myself. I finding it very hard to know what to put down especially as my income just dropped and we trying to rework bills etc.
Also very confusing do the SOA on here different to how it is in the booklet.
My gf is employed - £12000 earnings which i believe is around £800 net and does some self employed work which i think is £2500.
All your words of wisdom is helpful and rather ur guys be blunt with merather than the OR tomorrow.
thanks all0
