Matured Endowment, keep going or cash in?

Hi, I have a couple of endowments which aren't secured against a mortgage. One, an abbey life policy will mature next month. As of last friday it was valued at about 40% less than it's target figure. Should I resist the temptation to grab the money and run or should I continue untill the share values have risen?

if it matures then you dont get a choice. You would have to reinvest in a new investment.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
An ISA (whether stocks and shares or cash or a mix)will be a better slot for the money, being tax free for a start. For an S&S one, choose a discount broker which will rebate the charges and then you can top it up annually when your new allowance comes due.
