What does he get for that though?
I get free mobile phone insurance, a £50 a year discount on home insurance and free travel insurance for my family with my account.
So i save quite a bit on these things over the year. so if he is actually using the things he should be getting he could be saving money!

Have posted this on the other thread you started and felt it would be good to mention here as well."Having had a quick look at the RBS website, I would say no you can't reclaim these charges as these charges are the subscription fee for the account. If your OH is not using any of the benefits of this account I would suggest that the down grade it to a standard current account. Alternatively you could look for an account that provides similar benefits for free."0
