Barn (steading) conversion Mortgages in Scotland?

Does anyone know a lender who will lend at the moment for a conversion project in Scotland? :confused:

I have only been able to find buildstore who will lend for a new build only in Scotland (although they are happy to lend for conversion projects in England and Wales).

Any good alternatives or suggestions for finance on such a project in Scotland?

    My own bank don't appear to lend on conversions or self builds any more!

    I know this sounds silly but have you tried the scottish banks?

    New builds etc have been hit hard and some lenders cant be bothered with the risk.

    I dont know of any, but Scotland must have a large brokerage of some sorts?
