Another loan approval?
Hi, I posted on here last week that I received a strange e-mail from a loan company to say my loan was approved. The thing is I didn't apply for a loan. I just deleted the e-mail and forgot about it. This morning another e-mail has arrived from another company to say I have been approved for a loan . I am a bit concerned about this now or should I just ignore this too. Surely these companies don't just hand out loans on the basis of internet communication, with all the scamming going on? I do think there should be a law against companies targeting you in this way to make you think someone is trying to commit fraud in your name. How is that going to make you take out a loan with them? I am just a bit annoyed about this now.I appreciate any advice..thanks shrewdal

Yeah - if you replied, they'd be most likely to reply back saying "your approved loan is on its way - all you need to do is send us the details of the bank account you want the money to go into, oh and don't forget to fill in all your security information so we can verify your identity."
I think they're harmless IF ignored.
HFMEverything turns out all right in the end. If it's not all right, it's not the end.

Thanks Guys for your wee bit of reassurance. It does help to know that this type of thing is not unique and I'm not the only one being targetted in this way. Thats what I love about this forum everyone is so helpful and pleasant. cheers shrewdal0
