The whole point of a DMP is that payments go through PayPlan and are distributed fairly.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that to make additional payments to MBNA would be a breach of your PayPlan agreement.
MBNA always try to screw more money out of you on a DMP, usually by refusing to accept it for some time.
All you can do is stick to your guns and pay through PayPlan.
I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T be giving debit card details to MBNA. :eek:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Take it from someone who works there. MBNA are notorius (more so then the B.I.G.) for taking more than they said they would. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

no idea what my nerdnumber is - i am now officially nerd 229, no idea on my debt free date0 -
As others have said, just keep paying through Payplan - DO NOT give MBNA any more. It is likely to jeopardise your dmp if you do and you will be seen to be giving MBNA preferential treatment and treating the other creditors unfairly and things could kick off.
Just ignore their demands and do not give them your debit card details. MBNA will eventually accept - they are just using scare tactics.
Don't even speak to them on the phone any more - if you do happen to answer the phone to them, refuse to go through their security questions, give them your Payplan ref number and tell them to speak to Payplan and hang up.
It's frustrating. I had a similar thing with one of my creditors (not MBNA) who only wanted and extra £2.00pm in order to accept. Under normal circumstances, I would have done it but as I am on a dmp I didn't want to jeopardise it ignored their demands and waited until they sold the debt to a DCA who did accept the payments. Shame it took them so long to sell it on though.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Agree with what other say dont over stretch yourself and pay MBNA more. Wife and I were lucky MBNA excepted our payment thru CCCS and have stopped interest as well!!! Hope things work out for you!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts :j:j
