Has anyone actually received this item and can confirm if it has SCART RGB-IN?

I have got mine, it has taken me a good few hours to connect it up to my analogue ariel, sky box, vcr, and tv. still not quite managed the vcr.

It has red green blue connectors on the back but i think they are out as opposed to in. That is the most I can help sorry.

What is progresive scan and I assume you can only use this if you have R,g,b connectors on your tv.

After a good few hours getting it set up I have a small problem. When I put the tv on through the dvd, the default setting of the picture is set at 4/3 even though in the set up menu the aspect ratio is shown as 16/9 wide. I am able to use the tv remote to correct it every time. Anybody no how I could alter it.

    cheers for any help

press setup on the dvd remote- on that screen go to the third icon on the left down(playback at top of screen ) press the right button onto 'aspect ratio' and change it to 16:9)
    Sorted!
Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

That's where the problem seems to be - aspect ratio is showing as being at 16:9. but still the narrow picture.
