Best business loan?
Hi guys, we have set up a website design and video production company.
We want to apply for a business loan. does anybody know which bank is the best one right now for lending?
We want to lend between £5 and £10 grand for marketing, advertising etc.
Advise would be greatly appreciated, many thanks

Sally,
You should talk to your bank in the first instance.
Whether you can get the loan will depend on the strength of your business plan and whether you have any assets (probably your house) that you can put up as security for the loan.
You could also try your local chamber of commerce to see whether you can get any grants or whether they can put you in touch with a potential investor - dragons den style!
Good luck
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

Have you got any work lined up? Any trading figures - any security?
The Dragons would tear you to strips as £5 to £10k will not buy you a lot of advertising and marketing and would probably ask something like 'why was this major expense not included in your business plan?'0 -

Hi Sally
Do you envisage spending most of that on online marketing? PPC and SEO?
Or other kinds?0
