How did you get into debt?

I've just been thinking... I have nothing much to show for all the money I've spent over the years. My debt is purely the result of thinking "Oh sod it, another 30 quid on the credit card isn't going to make that much difference" and overspending EVERY month for as long as I can remember.
It wouldn't be so bad if I had the perfect house & designer clothes to show for it but I really haven't :rolleyes:
