this may have been asked before, but i can't find the answer. If i set up a DMP, do i have to tell them my partners details? we live together, but have seperate finances. no joint bills per se, he pay rent, i pay bills etc? Don't really want him involved. (he has good credit rating and might wat o get mortgage in year or two). All debts are in my name only.

Best to ask CCCS. They may want to include his incomings and expenditure to get an acurate assessment. If you tell them you are just sharing a flat rather than living together then they're less likely to want him details. Always best to not be dishonest with these people though!Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345
Debt free 21st Oct 2011.
All thanks to :money:0 -
when i had my first interview with payplan they asked whether it was joint or not, they said if you want it by yourself thats ok but you cant include any joint loans/cards. If it joint you have to include everything......kinda all or nothing approach......not sure if cccs is the same0

Hi Susie
I am in a similar poition, as my debts are from before I was with OH. What I was told by CCCS was to reduce the amounts for accomodation, food, bills etc as your OH will be liable to pay half of the bills etc.

no you dont involve your OH except that he will be expected to pay half the household bills (only fair)0
