I've mentioned it in another thread but thought I would throw it out generally. If you served in any of the armed forces including the TA even if it was for only one day, you are entitled to help from the British Legion. This includes grants etc for debts but I think there are certain conditions such as they won't help with credit card debts. I am unsure about that so if it applies to you then give them a ring to find out.

Just clarify you needed to receive 7 days pay to qualify for help from the Royal British Legion. However SSAFA will assist after 1 days pay.
There are certain conditions that might apply regarding the qualification for assistance.0
