Question about NR loans

My OH took out a £10k loan (at 5.5% apr) with NR in 2004 to buy our car, and I was just wondering if anyone knows if NR will allow overpayments, or ad-hoc payments to their loans?

I can check once I get home, but I'm in work right now and thought I'd post.
