Just a quick thread to get your juices flowing.

I decided today, that as Payplan were having some issues getting my creditors to let them know of my balances, ref numbers etc etc I would do it for them and call them back with the results.

Well... What a load of biggoted, judgemental, aggressive people there are!

I called one after one... 1st of all you get, what can you pay now, debit or credit card, pay in full. bla bla

Halifax said we spoke to payplan the other day, we do not need to speak with you now and cannot discuss the account.

Capquest said we will NOT discuss any repayment plan, only with payplan ... (after coughing and snorting down the line for 5 mins)

Egg - your debt is with capquest, capquest - no it isnt, egg yes it is, capquest no it isnt bla bla...

I wish i'd never have bothered, I said to each and every one, its not that I wont pay, my situation has put me here. What a sad world, do they not realise by being like that, you will be off with them, treat me with respect and I will deal with you in even more respect !

Just a thought... more like a sound off... needed to share it !

It's been a bit quiet of late, I'm sure a few people will be along later...

I've not had any experience of DCA's thankfully....well not for myself anyway...plenty for the previous owner of my house though!!

However, I do know that some of these people can be downright rude and just horrible when you are already feeling crap about the situation......certainly don't help do they?

To be honest, I haven't spoken to one of them yet. I changed my sim card so they couldn't call me and I have written in response to their letters.

I have to say Wescot are a bunch of Muppets who have no idea what is going on. It seems they just send random letters. I reply, they don't reply to my letter, then they send me another one talking about some other awful thing they are planning to do to me next. So, last week, I thought this is a stupid game getting me nowhere. So, I wrote to them with the £1 postal order giving them 12 days to prove I do actually have to deal with them because they do actually own my debt.

I am now doing this with all the DCAs because I can't get much more sense out of any of them. Hopefully by the time we get the paperwork sorted I will be in a position to offer full and finals to get them off my back. I actually don't mind them being on my back, I just really mind the total incompetence of them all. Why bother writing to me if they refuse to answer my reply? They even ignored the letters containing cheques. So, they haven't actually accepted my offer of payment, but they did cash the cheque and continue to ignore me. I always thought it should be my gig to ignore them!
