I will be in attendance selling my dips. Keep an eye on Belfast Telegraph this week as they may provide discount coupons. I know they are giving a supplement on Wednesday. A word of warning though I remember years ago when my kids were small the Sunday Life was giving free entrance for the Sunday, we went and turned and came home agian as queue was a mile long.

I was also there last year as a trader and Sunday was extremely busy right from it opened @ 11.30. To me best bet is Friday or Saturday. Good luck

I think we used a 2-for-1 voucher last year from the NI Travel News paper. Not sure if the're doing it this year. It can be picked up free in most Travel Agents.

Thanks Chocco and McQueen - we had thought about taking a run up on Saturday - we are new to caravanning so thought it might be a bit of fun for the kids to have a dander round. Is there carparking fees at Kings Hall - havent been there in ages.
Will buy telegraph on Wed and if that fails will pop into travel agents when i am in town on Friday and see if any vouchers -

By the way Chocco - dips ??? - what kinda stand - would say hello if I could find it!!!

    Is this worth going to?

Have a few ideas in place for this year, but £600 for 2 weeks in Cuba AI is looking hard to beat.

Would consider going if I thought I might get a bargain.

Be interesting to find out about the price hikes around the local caravan touring sites. Castle Ward have jacked their's up from £7.50 per night to £12.00 for National Trust members and £25.00 plus for non-members! Also told they're going online shortly and all stays will have to be paid for in full, in advance. That'll get rid of the inconsiderate morons who made multiple bookings and never turned up if the weather looked iffy. Also get rid of the gits who tried to avoid paying altogether. Antrim and a few others reportedly following suit. Always the same, just takes a few to ruin a good thing for the rest of us. With any luck we''ll be rid of the idiot caravan brigade by the end of this year, all away back to Spain etc.

Yeah Emma - Benone tourist complex are the same - want full payment now at time of booking. Dunno if anyone there from sites or if it is just caravan companies.

Bobs I sell Belgain Chocolate Dips of fruit, donuts, fudge, marshmallows etc. I think I am in stand H1O but have to call tomorrow to finalise. Caravanning is brilliant our kids all loved it and they are now 21, 19 + 17 and I have no doubt if we said we were going back to France with caravan I would have 3 eager travellers as we used to erect a tent outside the awning for them in order that they could come and go and not wake us up in the early hours when they were sneaking in to bed at daylight. Happy camping best days of our life!

Aw thanks Choco - our kids are 10, 7 and 5 - they really enjoyed our wee trips to Benone last year and hoping to go a bit further this summer - down to Castlewellan and maybe Kilkeel. Dont think I would venture as far as France tho ...!!
Hopefully will make it on Saturday and will definitely look our for your stand - though my 10 year old will probably spy you 1st as she is a chocoholic!!

Bobs all been well I'll see you Saturday and don't worry I dont charge extreme prices everyone keeps telling us we are the best and the cheapest. Never say never about France I said that too and ended up doing it for 14 years..... Although I have to admit theres some beautiful sites in Ireland if only we could depend on the weather. Happy camping
