Do look at ebaying things. Some people make a fortune from their old things. Lots of things for a few quid can soon add up - you don't need antiques in the attic

Paul - why has your credit rating taken a bashing because of a mortgage payment break? if a payment break was within the terms and conditions of the mortgage you have then you have not broken that agreement therefore there is NO reason why it should have been noted on your credit file and therefore affecting your credit score.
We had a 12 month payment break on our mortgage a few years ago and it did not affect our credit ratings at all. Have you checked your credit reports to see what's on there?
Hi there, Milliemonster may have had a mortgage product that allowed you to take a payment break, however, some mortgages do not have this facility. Therefore, if you have a 3 month concession, the paperwork that you sign to agree to this will advise you that your credit rating will be affected as your mortgage effectively goes into arrears. As you previously advised that you paid an arrangement for 6 months to bring your mortgage back in line following the concession, it appears that this is the case and your credit rating will have been affected.

Sorry but you can not afford sky cancel today. That will give you an extra £20 per month. Paying for Sat TV is not neccesary. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0

This is the same with some of my family in the NE by the sea. Sky is the only way you can get TV and when you tell people they dont believe you.The only reason got Sky cant get a tv signal with standard ariel, got the basic pakage, plus had chimney removed although i live on top of a huge hill just my luck.. will take advice but im hedging my bets on selling we have tried everything to juggle it all and just get deeper, and i dont want my lovely kids and girlfriend to suffer, i take full responsibilty for my situation and thankyou for your help and advice, but as many people know if you lose your job none of companies you owe to really want to help you found rbs the worst, really made me feel belittled and it took ages for them to decide and many phonecalls to arrange a payment break which was not built into my mortgage but they did do me a favour by ruining my credit score....

There are still areas in this country that have trouble getting Ch 4 and 5 normally, where the picture quality is diabolical and where there are no cable options.
So I understand the reason for the Sky.
I did wonder if you needed 2 cars, but see you took one off the road.
Best bet is to try earn a few extra quid rather than cut back on your tight list anyway.
Old Style board is great for your wife....lots of help there with meal planning, using leftovers, getting by with no money etc.
Ebay your unwanted bits and pieces or maybe do a car boot sale at weekends.
Really have a good think about any crafts or things that you might be able to turn your hand to. You will be surprised what people are happy to buy (even during the recession) and a craft/hobbie is great for your time, for stress, for your own pride and great for children to be introduced to.
Crafts go through 1000's of things...so dont think its all knitting or painting.
I bet your kiddies would love to make sock monkeys or toy mice for cats
Good luck hun0 -
I dont have a sky contract but I kept the box so I can get channels 1-4 through it. Dont know if that helps? Also I dont know if you could get a cheap freesat box on ebay or something for more channels for free?Proud to be dealing with my debts!0
