To motivate yourself you need to be hungry for something, want something really bad, you should be visualizing yourself at the end of the year, how far will you have come! What will be reaction of others when they realise you have done this? How will you feel knowing you have achieved something for yourself. What will this successfully completing this challenge mean to you, to your family?
Can you create a space where you can focus yourself, if you are hoping to go on a holiday with your money you could pin up pictures, if you are wanting to buy a house put up pictures of houses, if you want to pay off debt then you could pin up a few bills (that one sounds a bit depressing though!).
Get a song, that really inspires you, if you are feeling like giving up listen to it. I like the song “Proud” by Heather Small. Have a personal quote etc that you can think of when thinks aren’t going too well. Get someone in your corner, is it a friend/ partner/ family member who is completely supportive and encouraging so you always have a friendly ear and not an “I told you do”.
Think for every hurdle you overcome there will be others who didn’t, at every step you start to separate yourself out as someone who CAN and WILL succeed. Each time you fail LEARN from it, how will that influence your decisions next time.
Don’t overcommit! Better to be fantastic at one thing than have several uncompleted projects. And once you have that plan and have to take the next step to put it into action, grit your teeth, take a breath and jump … you have to land somewhere! If it was too easy everyone would be doing it … think that this struggle is what is going to make you a success in the long run because others just can’t be bothered.
Break your goal down into mini goals, you could set monthly goals, what do you hope to have achieved by the end of February? Be realistic but also aim high, as the quote below says!
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

And does the gogo in your name mean anything, little Miss Innocent? :rotfl:0 -
Was just looking at ebay to get some ideas of finishing prices for a couple of items that I was planning to sell and saw this:

Might have to sleep with the lights on tonight!
What with that and the socks, this thread is swiftly going off track! :rotfl:0 -
