On the upside I have done some glass engraving and it's great! I could do to improve my handwriting though...
I wouldn't change the auction for the curtains, just check afterwards when it has sold whether they are keen on the second curtain if they have indicated interest in it.
The glass though!! Thats awesome. Just practise lots and it will get better. :T"Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without!!"Nov NSD: ?/30 Nov Make 10 Day ?/300Get Rid Of Debt: ?/2000 !! :mad:0 -

I won £10 on BB last night. Just played roulette with it and turned it into £20 MUCH to my surprise - I sat for ages preparing myself for the horrible feeling I get in my stomach when I've just done something really stupid and lost out! Anyway, I've withdrawn it and am just adding it to my total. I've also sold an item at 99p which it's taken 3 days for the buyer to pay for - was getting ready to write a strong email before I opened a claim tomorrow and you have to wonder if it is worth the stress for 99p minus expenses!!
Bit worried about my Amazon CD sale - I had a load of stuff to post and asked for this, as well as a few other bits, to be posted 2nd class recorded. When I got home I checked my receipt and I have only paid 59p for it and realised they hadn't done the recorded bit! Arghh - does that mean I will get bad feed back from the buyer if they think I've fiddled them out of money, or is the £1.24 to cover packaging as well? It's my first sale on there and I don't want to get off to a bad start.
Not doing too well on eBay this week. Got 50 items on with a few watchers here and there, but not a lot of interest. I'm still really positive though - I finally had an idea of something I could make my niche, just need to find out where to get the items in bulk and then I'm going to give it a try. However, I have promised myself no more spending until I've made some of my £100 back so I need to send positive vibes through the net and into those prospective buyers' fingers. <vibes being sent now>
Keep smiling everyone, even if you are not making loads of money yet, who knows what's round the next corner. :T:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
I have actually started!! woohoo!
I have put 9 of my unwanted, cluttering up the house items on ebay....all only at a starting price of 99p because it was free and I really don't have a clue what I am doing! Only just finished and one item already has 2 watchers and a bid......really exciting, how sad is that lol!
If I can make a little money from stuff I don't want anymore it will be fantastic!
Thank you to the OP and everyone else on here for motivating me to start and have a go!Life is a work in progress0 -

:jWell done Nixinixi - it's really daunting when you first start selling on ebay, but once you get going the buzz is great. My mum is still on a high from selling her first two items last week. She's been taking photos of everything in the house including my dad! I've downloaded Turbo Lister for her last night and she hasn't put her laptop down since apparently!!:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0

Wish I had something to add to my total ... well, wish I had a total to add to ... I need to go back to the beginning and remind myself what my other ideas were, then work on them!0
