Table Centres Tree Branch HELP needed!

Hi everyone, I am hoping you can help with something...

I am getting married in the summer and really want to use tree branches for my centrepieces with little votives and hydrangea wedged between parts of the branches. The only problem is, I dont know which kind of tree/branches would be best for this as the ones I have seen are on American sites and they can't ship to the UK. Also, where can I get them from - or will it be a case of a mini hacksaw in the middle of the night down a country lane?!

Speak to a landscaper or gardener to see if they have some branches you can have? I'm not sure if they would be cutting back branches in summer though.
I woldn't know what kind to suggest but make sure you have enough time to scrub them and then let them dry out again

Definately don't cut them down yourself, some have 'Tree Protection Orders' on them and you could get in trouble
