Hi
As title suggests, has anyone washed their Morphy Richards bread pan and measuring cups in the dishwasher?
It says not to....but would it really damage them?
Looking for anyone who has done so and could let me know they were fine afterwards!!
Thank you!!

I do not have MR bread maker [Panasonic], but the bread pan surely must be NO, the grease within the gearbox [assuming similar top all other BMs] would melt in the heat and be washed away
Also measuring cups, again assuming clear plastic types, would distort in the heat
I stand to be corrected by those with experienceGardener’s pest is chef’s escargot0 -
i only put a small amount of water in the pan to wash it and never wet the underneath bit as in the past have had to buy a new bread pan cos it has rustedThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

I have had my MR breadmaker for about 7 years and I always put the pan and measuring items in the DW. If it starts squeaking in use, I just put a touch of olive oil on the paddle section before use. I find the heat of the dishwasher tends to dry items in there anyway and dry the underneath when I get it out if water has pooled in there.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

If the instructions say not to, why are you even considering it given that it takes seconds to wash out a bread pan? Bread makers are expensive bits of kit to replace.Val.0
