Sorry, as stated before I cannot provide case studies.
Case studies for mortgages will be misleading anyway - as everyone's situation is different.
So you could read numerous case studies, but none of them actually help you with your own individual scenario.
I'll let others post any case studies they may have.
IMO you are better off talking this through in details with a good whole of market adviser.

Sure, I see what you mean about the case studies, although for someone with no experience of mortgages such as myself it would help in at least giving me an idea of the type of hoops that have to be jumped through.
The adviser I spoke to seemed almost dismissive of the idea of my brother and I going in together and did not enlighten me in any way about over sea's mortgages, if you can recommend a good whole of market advisor as a starting point that would be good.0 -
