Strawberry Whip

Many of the supermarkets are doing strawberry whip at as little as 6p, having stocked up on a few I was wondering if I could use this when baking, any ideas?

Is this the stuff that sets like whipped cream when whisked - similar to Angel Delight?

I had a recipe, many years ago, that involved using it to fill mini choux buns - my kids adored them at the time.

    Yes, thats the stuff.

All I can think of is butterfly buns, but I was wondering if I put it in with the sponge mixture would it flavour it?

I've never used it for baking but I have frozen it for lollies. You can also use it to make milkshakes, just add more milk to make it runnier.

You could also buy some of the 7p value jelly, put some 7p value custard on top then finish it off with your instant whip. It would make a very cheap trifle!

I have used chocolate flavour when making a chocolate cake and it made it lovely and moist. I assume you could use strawberry in a plain cake and it would give it a lovely strawberry hint
