CCCS and Budgets

Hello Everyone,

My partner has her appointment with the CCCS on 12th July to go through everything etc regarding her debts. :D

Just one question, we live in rented accomodation (both on the tenancy agreement) with all the bills in my name. So I am not sure what she should put down on her budget? She doesn't work at the moment, and as I am DFW as well, I don't want the CCCS to take my salary into account because I have no money left at the end of the month anyway!

Currently my partnet just receiebs JSA, Tax Credits and Child Benefit - she hasn't beencontributing anything to the running of the household for quite a while, but she is going to have to soon in order to stop my debts from increasing each month...

....so does anyone have any ideas on how we should structure our (her?) budget for the CCCS?

Thanks,
D.

HI i think she should tell them just what you have told us but obviously she will need to budget for a 50/50 split on bills (if she has enough that is)
if you hold on there will be someone who know more than me

CCCS will act in your best interests I am sure so I would be completely open with them about the whole situation. That way they can help arrange something suitable for the both of you.

    Good luck.
