They are really nice looking, good quality and could be given as little gifts to people at the end of the day.
I am looking for plainer ones though as I want to put organza ribbon round them and a little pearl heart embellishment, to tie in with my theme. Anyone know where I can get some (like mini tumbler style) - now I am looking I can't find them anywhere!0 -
You could look in Tesco? We got some value glasses and use them as tea light holders, I think they are about a quid for four.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Check with your venue about candles, some places have an insurance problem.
Ikea had mini tumbler tea light holders before Christmas, can't remember the price but I only bought cheap stuff and I bought some! I bought clear ones IIRC they had coloured ones as well.Piglet

I brought cheap tealight glass holders from Asda, 4 for a £1, they are plain and simple but once theres some little jewels round the mirror they glitter beautifully. I also brought 2 tealight holders that holds 3, thats for the centre table just as its bigger, that was only £3, an absolute bargain. No more spending hard - Time for the scrimping!0

My sister bought loads of lovely tea light holders in the sale (I can't remember where, but they were about 75p each) and then she found out she wasn't allowed to have them!Pitlanepiglet wrote: »Check with your venue about candles, some places have an insurance problem.

Thanks for all your advice - I will get looking at the places suggested.
Good point about insurance, I did ask my venue and they said it was fine. If your venue does not allow candles though you could use LED tealights - that was my back-up plan. If you have coloured or decorated or cloudy glass holders, it looks fine.0
