HM version of super noodles?

Options
I must admit to liking these, but I'm not keen on all of the additives!

I've tried adding curry powder to noodles but it's not very nice.

Any tips?

Thanks!

  • Instead of just plain water you could make up a stock and add some seasoning for the flavour?

  • DD1 used to live on Supernoodles and I got really worried when I read all the stuff in them so now she makes her own by boiling thread egg noodles (sharwoods or from chinese supermarket) in stock made with a Kallo cube (chicken or beef) or in Marigold veg stock - you have to experiment until you get the right amount of water and we usually have to still drain them. When they are cooked we add about a dessert spoon of low fat spread and some white pepper and they taste lovely. Sometimes we put a bit of curry powder in the water with the chicken cube and a bit of lemon juice and corriander. I know that the low fat spread sounds foul but it gives them the same viscous quality as the proper supernoodles, which all have fat added.
