    30p per answer (which could take anything from a few seconds to 10 minutes apparently) so they reckon about £7 an hour if there's a steady flow of questions (and not too many other people working at the same time as you). But they say your researching will get quicker and your earning could increase. I do like the sound of it! I have been thinking, I have some referees I could put down from jobs that I did up until march/april time (they'd both give me nice ones!) and that would save me the embarassment of my uni tutors doing it.

    She's just completed a three year degree and come out with a good mark, for what?!?! Researching answers to silly questions?! :rotfl:

    Anybody know anything about setting up as self employed (tax purposes). I'd think you have to do it for this and I'll be hoping to be a freelance photographer soon so I'd better find out anyway :D

    Wonder if there's anyone who knows anything about tax in our 'advice expert list' - *off to have a look*

    One of my trial questions was 'How many baked beans would it take to fill the Grand Canyon'

    :confused::confused::confused::confused:
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    Find out width (diameter) of grand canyon, find out depth - calculate volume. Estimate (or measure) dimensions (and calculate volume) of a baked bean. Divide one by the other.

    Bobs your uncle!!! :rolleyes: :rotfl:

    Another one was 'Where are my sunglasses'

    There must be an easier way to make a bit of pocket money :confused:

    You're probably right.

    Apparently more and more questions have been asked before and so all you have to do is select from previously given replies, much quicker.

    I just think it sounds kind of fun for a bit of money. Think I'll give it a go and se how I get on :o

    You do have to be self-employed for AQA. It's not difficult to register - phone up the Inland Revenue and that will get the ball rolling.

    You need to register within about three months of starting your self-employment though, or you might get a fine.

    Just had an email from them, I've been accepted!!!:j

    Signed the contract and sent it back and apparently I'll get an info pack in the next 5 days. As far as I know they haven't contacted my references yet, and didn't make any indication in the email that they were going to. Does anyone who is already working for them know if they do phone them?
