Thanks fuzzy thinker - we bloody appreciated your post !!!!Smile!0 -
Cheers Fuzzy - as others have said, a lot of what you posted is stuff we already know (or should already know!
) but actually, sometimes its helpful just to see it put down in black and white as a "concrete" reminder for those of us who tend to drift off course occasionally!
Thanks for pushing us back towards the straight and narrow...;) Good tips!!:T

Not everyone is as educated as some of the regulars on here, something like this is a great quick beginners reference guide, although if it is a bit basic, but a nice post all the same0

Al_Mac wrote:Sorry I'm confused, saved 10k since December, in another post states he is saving £20 a month, what should he do with it?
The link posted by Jays above to the OPs post on another board.
Since graduating from university, I have been working from December until now (my salary is £16k). I have been saving very hard which is almost over £10K now. I am still renting a apartment for £275 per month. I am still paying my student loan monthly. Got no pension at the moment. Should I buy a house in order to reduce wasting my money on rent or should I save a bit more? The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Hey, why are so many people attacking this guy? Al Mac - I'm sure posts can give conflicting info as a situation changes - I'm sure mine do. And he could have money coming in from sources other than his pay packet - again, I do. There's no need to take the p*ss out of someone posting genuinely. Just because we all know stuff, doesn't mean others do, and it shouldn't devalue their acheivement when they learn it! When you're a kid, learning to tie your shoelaces is a big acheivement - even though millions of people do it without thinking every day. Come on guys, we were all new once, and I for one am definately still learning!!!Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Debt Now:
