out of date puff pastry

Just a quick question - we're planning to have a cheese puff pastry pie for tea tonight and I've just realised the jus-roll puff pastry has got a use by date of yesterday on it!

Will this still be ok to eat tonight?

Of course it will be ok, the fat in it will keep it ok for far longer than the use by date.

Thank you, I'm a bit of a novice in the kitchen but I'm learning slowly :) It doesn't smell or anything so we're going to eat it :)

Just another question (please don't think I'm an idiot, I really am clueless in the kitchen), this pie will make enough for 4 people; we usually have the leftovers for dinner the next day, would this still be ok?

    Thank you

It will probably still be okay for about a fortnight.
