Does an NRP have to inform the CSA if their mortgage is completed or less than 35% of the market value? (Assuming CSA2 of course) .

Wouldn't say so under CSA2 as that isn't included in your assesments anyway

Who would know if your mortgage was completed anyway ?

If you are CSA 2 rules its a straight percentage of your take home (unfortunately im on CSA 1)

I just remember some of the members saying about the sanctions of calculation for assets which may include property equity :o
  • you only have to supple details of your mortgage etc if asked for this for a variation application etc - this wouldnt impact on your normal assessment so no need to advise until you are asked

Wouldn't that actually make the housing costs smaller rather than larger?
