Fruity Fridge

Hi all,
Hoping you can help me with a slightly unusual one. Mr T has had pineapples on offer for a couple of weeks and they are my absolute favourite but OH hates them.
When ripe I dice it all up (can't leave it out as the dog steals it!) and clingfilm and put in the fridge so I can eat it over a few days. However, this always leaves my fridge smelling of pineapple, plus the butter, milk and other items. I've tried a cliplock tupperware tub but this didn't work either.
Any suggestions?

I usually do the same with mine but have never had a problem so can't help I'm afraid.0

a small open dish of bicarb in the fridge might help to absorb the smell, or at the moment you would be safe to leave it outside in a lock and lock box

Gonna try the bicarb or maybe even getting better clingfilm (cheapo lidl stuff). Can't leave fruit anywhere in the house as my dog is a fruit fiend and will always find it!:rotfl:0
