I have read many of the posts regarding un enforceable credit card agreements. I am keen to progress down this route but wondered if anyone could clarify a couple of points for me.
1. I have a SKY card which has recently changed to Barclaycard where a new card but not new agreement was issued, does this affect my ability to claim un enforcibility.
2. I am currently up to date with all my CC payments, does going down the route of checking for un enforcibility affect my credit rating i.e. do I have to be in dispute to make these claims??
Hope someone can provide some advice........thanks

1. Should make no difference providing you didn't sign a new agreement.
2. Checking if they are unenforceable will not affect your rating. If you decided to stop paying then that would (they would issue defaults etc).

Are all your cards long standing ones? - you can only look at this issue for accounts opened before April 07.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks for replying. My cards are all existing ones and are being paid, I dont think I have ever been in arrears, maybe once or twice but all were taken out before April 2007
I got caught in the Egg change where they withdrew credit card (nothing to do with my payments just a "review of my account) and simply said I needed to continue paying until cleared, same with Halifax card but together both amount to less than £1000, the one I really want to address is SKY with £6500 outstanding.
Like everyine I want to protect my credit rating but no matter how hard I try it never gets better and my balances never decrease0
