Just wanted to say to anyone considering starting a spending diary - DO IT! A few people advised I should do this earlier this month. Not only have I kept within budget, I've paid £200 off my credit card and lost 4lbs as i've not bought all the usual food crap that I buy. Hubby commented the other day that we've eaten better than usual this month as we've planned things.
