I hope this is the right place for this.
I'm looking for a valve that will fit on a 40mm plastic waste pipe to either open or block the flow.
Has anyone ever seen such a thing?
This is part of a water butt system that saves my bath water for garden watering.
A drought order is about to implemented in my part of Kent.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hmmm, have a browse in the useful links sticky at the top of the board. Theres a link to a company called Rainharvesting Systems, they might be able to help or at least point you in the right direction as to where you could get a valve.

Just thought that it might help0 -
DH (who works with this sort of thing) says you can get an auto shut off link to a solanoid valve from 10mm - 40mm. Call Air Engineering on 01342 825036 ask for Mark.

Many thanks for the replies, I ended up getting what I needed in a pond/aquatics/koi carp type shop.
If anyones interested these are a great source of outsize plumping fittings.
