Cant afford DCA payment this month whilst sending cca request.

Hi there,I was wondering if anyone could help me
I have been making dca payment to direct legal and collection for an egg account for the past couple of years. Two months ago I was called by them asking for an increase in payment, to which I stupidly agreed just to get her off my back.
Anyway, I had a call from apex a couple of months ago after egg passed another account to them , to which I asked over the phone for a copy of the CCA. They said they would need to send the debt back to the originator and that i should have the cca within 30 days, however I havent heard from apex or egg.
So my main questions are:
* With regards to APEX, should I send a formal letter requesting CCA. Im a bit worried that I havent heard anything from them about this matter.
* With regards to DLC, I have a payment due to them in a few days which is going to leave me desperately short of money if I make this payment. However, today I will be sending them the formal letter requesting CCA. SHould I just make this months payment regardless and then wait and see what happens with the CCA? Or shall I withold payment for now?
Any advice would be appreciated.

For the first you need to make a formal request in writing to enclosing the £1 postal order fee. They have 12 days to supply the CCA.
In the latter case the debt will not be in dispute until 12days after they have received your CCA request. So you should still pay them.
If you really can't afford it then you could try paying them a smaller amount/token payment and write to explain the situation.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Dear <DCA>
2 months ago I agreed to increase my payments from <lower amount> to <higher amount>, under pressure from your office by telephone. I only agreed to get your b1tch [find a nicer word] off my back, but truthfully, I knew at the time I could not afford it. So as of now, my payments are reverting to <lower amount>. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience and please understand that this would not have happened had your b1tch not put me under pressure.
