Any good experinces with a loans broker?
Options
Hi
Has anyone used/ come across any loans brokers that you have had a GOOD experience with? (ie got a loan without hassle/ having to pay up front etc etc)
Am a tenant looking for a loan of approx 17k; have a little bad credit, but mainly just getting tired of paying the minimum and getting nowhere with the actual debt. Have been turned down from Tesco and a couple of others.
Any good constructive advice with your experince most welcome
thanks

I'm sorry but you won't be able to get a loan for that amount if you have a little bad credit & have already been turned down by more than one (how many have you applied for already?) People are not lending at the moment, and I'm afraid no one will lend you that kind of money, as your credit report doesn't sound like its in too good shape.
My advice would be, don't go to any brokers as you will just end up getting ripped off either with fees or a crazy high APR which will do nothing to solve your problem of paying the minimum every month.
I'd make a saving plan, do an honest SOA & see where you can save money. If you are keeping up with your payments (regardless of whether they are the minimum amounts) then I'd just sit still for a while.
I hope this helps!0 -
Thanks for the advice: my credit history is actually good re payments etc have only one late payment in the last six years ands that was to a catalogue, its just that I had some address problems in my last and current address (landlords not having registered address and issues with the electoral roles for some reason (ie I was on it, but as the addresses are weird, any credit scoring company doent recognise it..)....can be sorted out, it just takes a whole lot of work trying to get folks to understand the problem...). Anyway, will address that first, that will perhaps fix my credit score, the maybe go for a smaller loan and address it sensibly, one card at a time...it took me ages to get into this stupid stutation, guess I just have to bite the bullet and realise that it will take me ages to get out of it.....
thanks for the non-judgemental advice, much appreciated....0
