sorry to go against what everybody else hs said but I consolodated through a loan and I am very happy with the result. I do agree that you need to be strong enough not to run yourself back into debt on cc cards or overdraft, though you could always cancel the overdraft and cut up the cards:)
I find that it makes for clearer thinking and obvioulsy less interest, O% ccd's are better though if you're good at tarting!!
