We have a Warmflow combi boiler heating system and are experiencing problems with getting hot water relating to water pressure.

Does anyone know of a really *good* home heating specialist who we could have a look at this?

We live in the craigavon area.

Thanks in advance

Can recommend Colin King from Portadown (in yellow pages), he deals with boilers, a very genuine and decent bloke who won't charge an arm and a leg,... hth....

Hello, did you manage to resolve your problem, as we have a similar issue with our Warmflow boiler, in that hot water only lasts for 30 secs then goes cold. The thing was only installed 6 months ago and the engineer insists there is nothing that can be done.

    Yes, we got it sorted.

the symptoms were that we had low water pressure on the hot top all of the time, compared to the cold tap. This meant that at some points during the week either the hot water wouldnt kick in at all, or would kick in, then go cold a few mins later.

The guy traced it to a restrictor valve being fitted to mains water going into the boiler. This was removed and everything has been perfect since.

Does this sound similar to what your experiencing?

IMHO, its unacceptable that you'be been told that theres nothing can be done when the system is only six months old. To me you need to talk to whoeever recommended its installation, as its definitely not fit for purpose IF theres really nothing can be done.
