    hi sanc,

thats good - can I ask if you sell the car how much would that give you to clear off a card? The reason I ask is, lets it dents one of them almost 80% you would then be able to clear the remaining balance on that one card very quickly now if you did this, and then left it a month, you could see if they would offer you a balance transfer or life of balance transfer deal, then you could move the other card over to the one you have just cleared - am I making sense?

For example I know that tesco card are doing life of balance transfers deals for under 8% - This is as good if not better than many bank loans. I think this would be a good thing for you - now the chance you take is clearing a card, and then when you ask about a balance transfer they say no, well then leave it a week and call them back and say that you want to close the account, then see if teh rentention department suddenly come up trumps, worst case scenerio, you clear the card (woohoo!) then you close and you are stuck with teh last one, by this point, you may be feeling a lot more optimisitic when you are able to throw £500+ off that balance, it will be down pretty quickly, I think the mortgage should really be a LAST resort, so see if what I suggest may work first, if your cars are worth 20k, you should be able to raise 10k? (I am presuming here!) This would make a massive difference.

    Good Luck xx
