Just wondering, a relation of mine has a DLA car and they had asked me to take it to a location.

I am fully comp. insured on my own car does this allow me to drive the DLA car?

My thoughts are that only the named drivers on the DLA insurance are allowed to drive the DLA car??

If by 'DLA car' you mean 'Motability car' then you are totally correct. It is part of the t&c's that the car should not be driven by anyone other than the named driver/s.
This has caused me problems in the past when I have not allowed anyone else to drive my OH's car where there has been valet parking for fear of breaking these rules.

Just a thought but could you be added as a named driver? I know you can nominate one other if you drive yourself and can nominate up to 2 if you do not drive it yourself.

You can also change the named driver at any time. And then change it back the next day.
