Breadmaking Machine Recipe Books

Most years I receive a number of Amazon gift vouchers as Christmas presents.

This year I was looking forward to buying a copy of 'The Ultimate Bread Machine Cookbook' by Jennie Shapter. I had read about it on Amazons website and on a number of other online book retailers websites. Imagine my surprise though when I went to buy the book after Christmas only to discover that even though it was supposed to be on sale from the beginning of November Amazon is now saying they will quote: "deliver when available." Makes one wonder what is going on.

Anyway giving the choice I will buy 'The Ultimate Bread Machine Cookbook.' if it becomes available anyway quickly but I would appreciate members opinions on other breadmaking machine recipe books that they have tried. Has anyone read Shapter's earlier edition?

Of course there are hundreds of recipes on the web but there is nothing like the feel of a good hardback book - and I do have those lovely Amazon vouchers :j

Sorry I can't be of any help, I never use specific recipes for the breadmaker, just any ol' recipe I have or find. Lots of times will just do them on 'dough' and then shape and bake however I like :D

Giving post a 'bump' in case others might be of assistance!

Thanks for the reply - yes there are tons of bread machine recipes out there on the internet but I like the feel of a good recipe book. It is somehow more personal, if that makes sense :)
