I can imagine them on here talking about the way Generation Y destroyed the environment just so they could have a nice large FTB property for themselves.
Hypocracy.
Hardly a massive price to pay bearing in mind your generation F*cked us out over 1 trillion (nearly 1.7 trillion taxed).
And I spent my teenage years living and working rural, so dont think I dont know what I am talking about you NIMBY D*CK Sorry for wanting the same opportunity you enjoyed.0 -
Gifted donation of property development rights based of greenbelt to any FTB having contributed to National insurance and income tax for more than 5 years. Starting at 1/16th of an acre for singleys, 1/8th of an acre for married couples.
it all sounds a little bit selfish looking after yourself0 -
I'd start by removing all mortgage protection for owner occupiers, then add in automatic reposession for anyone who missed one payment.
Let the market decide house prices.
You underlined my point perfectly. The 'bears' don't have a clue."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0 -
You could double the residential accommodation in the UK by using only 7% of agricultural land.

how much of that 7% is in the south east where it's needed0 -
what happens when you run out of green belt, where will people take their children for walks or to play football?

an expansion of 2% is hardly going to rip up leafy surrey.0 -

I'm 25  so haven't f*cked anyone (I have made beautiful love to lots of gorgeous girls mind you).
All you and some of the other bears are advocating is f*cking the following generation, you're no better than the baby boomers you despise."I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. No,
We just dont want our money used to pay for something someone cant afford?
Let the market remove their home from them and give it to someone who can afford it.0 -

How by using up only 2% extra of UK land will be screwing the next generation?0 -

In that case, please be a little more respectful about the baby boomers... they were the one's that invented / discovered sex... without them you wouldn't be having all this fun now.0
