  • Cheers emmzi i need to prepare an exact SOA the one i posted earlier isnt complete.
Two things though Mum and Dad gave me a savings book that they have been paying into for me since i was little with just over a grand in it so i'm going to use this to clear some debt. This feels a bit sad but when im clear i'd like to think i'll be able to put it back and more but this is a nice kick start that i wasn't expecting.
Also I have a AMEX corporate card for work which balance needs clearing monthly. My bill due next week is over 1k which i do not have. My rents said they would pay this but want that money back. They said this could come last when everything else is paid.
I have said that i would like to sit down with them every week and go through transactions online to show what i am up to i feel this shows my commitment to them and will build confidence back in me.
Nite all i think i am going to sleep a bit easier tonight.
    I hope everyone else does

Im gutted. Pay day today and was looking forward to it in a different way. But i get home log in to internet banking and prepare to distribute my cash when this months wages had decreases by £100. I phone payroll and I have a new tax code and this is my new net salary. My 'spare' £150 debt busting money has taken a blow. Its really annoying my enthusiasm has suddenly been sapped away from me

Oh no, I've been reading your thread from the start and didn't expect to read that at all. My sympathies.

A new tax code that is sapping you of £100 a month!? Did they tell you why? Have you been on a wrong tax code for a while? They need to explain everything to you or you can phone the tax office (national line) yourself, your Payroll will be able to give you the number and you need to quote your company's tax office code which again Payroll should give you.

Don't give up MC. Of course it is going to be tougher but you can't give up or it will be almost impossible.

Take a bit of time to calm down and regroup, you won't have a clear cut mind tonight.

When you feel better the peeps on here can help you sort out a new plan of attack.
