    It's YoY, though, isn't it? IIRC, last christmas figures were tragic, right in the depth of the recession, the worst in decades.

    Yer, it's comparing this years figures to last decembers. Which were at the time the worst on record I believe it was said?

    I'm surprised the numbers are so low though, everywhere I have been in the last month has been absolutely jam packed.

    Maybe so but JL, Next and M&S have all come out and said 2010 will be a tough year
