Hi I am quite new and cannot post a link to the comp in question but the thread id is 2116545 if that helps?

Basically I entered a comp to win a £500 makeover where you had to explain why you should win.

Today I have recieved this email

Good afternoon!
You recently entered our competition to win a Special Makeover worth £500! I am writing to you just to let you know that every entry is read, and as we speak my team are attempting to short list for the final winner to be announced at our Champagne Party on January 15th.

We would be grateful if you could let us have your home address so we may send you one of our special invites by post!

Now is the time to add anything more to your entry, let me know what it would mean to you to win! We have had over 500 entries and you will be contacted by telephone if you reach the short list. Can you attend on the 15th for 8pm?

It hasnt named me and it is sent from an aol email account, I am not sure if its genuine or not? The date does tally with that posted on the comp but it just seems a bit strange to me

So has anyone else recieved this and do you think its genuine

I think it is genuine. If you look at the All Your Life website the Founder is Dee Murray http://www.allyourlife.co.uk/ABOUTUS.html

The Gloucestershire site does say you'd be contacted by email or phone by All Your Life if you win and they're advertising the tickets on the front page: http://www.allyourlife.co.uk/default.html so up to you if you want to use the contact form on the website or reply to the email.

Yes I got the same and entered the comp. Not sure tho if the makeover prize can all be done in one day or you have to make individual appointments?
