Pooh I rreally need some vests... My dd is only 4 months and her 6-9 months stuff is hardly roomy (she's not a porker, 91st centile weight and length so in proportion). She's growing sooo quick could do with stocking up!
Hmmm, can I be bothered to drag a 3.5 year old shop hating boy and a baby out in this weather just for the possibility???
If I called do you think anyone would actually check for me?If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
Nothing wrong with putting pink vests on a boy, especially for that price, it's not like people will see it :rotfl:
Good find tho :T
It doesn't matter whether people see it or not - don't be straight-jacketed into all this 'boys' & 'girls' stuff. Surely a vest is a vest - pick the one you want, whatever the colour or trim, & don't be afraid to make your own mind up, otherwise, what example are you setting for your children? Surely you're telling them they have to conform to the stereotypes or prejudices of the mindless masses.0 -

That's not the only reason people put children in certain colours. It's to show what sex the baby is too so other people don't feel uncomfortable when they are corrected! Altho i had my son in blue and a nice lady asked how old 'she' was, lol, she said he was far too pretty to be a boy
Anyway, no need to jump on people for this is there?
Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

I'm genuinely sorry if my comments came over in any way as though I was 'jumping on people' - I certainly had no intention to sound like that - I was hoping to come over as 'liberating'! I do know why people 'colour-code' their babies, but I still think it really shouldn't need to apply to underwear!
I just despair a little when I see toy shops etc. with things divided into 'boys' & 'girls' - it takes a brave child to stray to the other side, so I think parents should empower them, or better still, take a stand against the practice by retailers (who probably realise they'll sell more that way!).
Anyway, apologies again if you or anyone else felt attacked.0 -
I found round my way, it was the opposite! Take Matalan, they had millions of boys clothes in the sale, but hardly any girls!!
same here typical really as I have 2 girls and also first size tht always sells out is 2-3, DD1 is 2 given up looking in the sales for herturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -
