Inspirational things?

Today I taped a picture of my ideal home in Florida to my till, to remind me why I'd like to get debt free. It seemed to work, as I was reall motivated all day. There;s also a picture of a pool in my wallet, pending pic of my dreamy other half.

Anyone else done anything like this, or am I going bonkers? Old ladies will come into the shop to find me furiously painting palm trees on the back wall, and sprinkling sand all over the carpet.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I don't have a pic of anything taped into my purse but I guess I get inspiration from the guys and gals on here. Cheesy but true...

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

i have a chalk board in my kitchen, it started off life as a shopping list, but has now become a little inspiration board, i write things (song lyrics, quotes etc) on it to keep me motivated about my diet and life in general!

    Debt-free and Proud!
My inspiration comes from my home,we lost nearly everything last year when it burnt down, most of the debt came from the rebuild and contents,(very under-insured) the fact that I have my home back and family safe are the inspiration that keeps me determined to pay back the huge debt, and being able to continue living here.
And as already said the support from you guys and gals keeps me from losing focus!

Don't laugh, but if I have a wish for something, I write it on a piece of paper and put it next to my money plant. Somehow, something usually happens to make my wish come true. I haven't tried anything massive like a house or car yet, I've mainly concentrated on smaller stuff which would make my life nicer. For example, a couple of weeks ago, I "wished" for a new suit for work but I couldn't afford it. Within a week I was offered enough mystery shopping assignments to pay for 2/3rds of the suit I want. Today, I was offered a couple more which, once paid, will buy me my suit.

    Mad? Probably. But something's working!
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

I do have chinese coins in my purse, and in the till, and since I put them there I always seem to have just enough money for whatever needs paying, or a way to make the money to pay for it.

Am wondering about uninspirational things..... I have some cactii which I understand according to feng shui are unlucky, problem is I'm emotionally attached to them.....

Think I'll have a look now & report back.

ps you are all inspirational, esp you obi!:A
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

for money wit fen shui iirc you should not have your bathroom by your front door (mine is!) and if you do don't leave the bathroom door open or the hi flows in and straight down the pan...seems like a good analogy for my money situation! your also supposed to put a frog facing your front door.
