Can anyone help me with some cake recipes please?
I would like to make some banana cake and some fruit cake for DH to take to work:p

i just sliced and froze my banana loaf
kept a few slices out for after work tonight tho
Its a really easy recipe although i not sure where i got it from so apologies if i am nicking someone elses recipe :rolleyes:
Banana loaf
7oz plain flour
1 level teaspoon baking powder
1/2 level teaspoon bicarbonate soda
4oz caster sugar
2oz margarine
1 egg
a little milk
2 bananas
basically i just seived the flour, baking powder and bicarb into my food processor then added the marge and sugar and blitzed. Then added the rest of the ingredients and blitzed again. Finally added a little ground mixed spice and blitzed again :rotfl:
bunged in a loaf tin and cooked on 190 for about 1 hour

Oooh yeah that sounds nice aswell!! There was another method for doing this but I didnt have much time so decided to try it in the food processor and it worked really well. Hope you like it xEmma :dance:
