Hello folks
i have finally made some nice bread in the BM and am now waiting for a date and walnut cake to finish cooking - however - I am worried i may not be able to get it out of the cooking pan. I rubbed pan with butter and took off the kneading hook and put cake mix in. Although its too late now, should I have put baking parchment around the pan?
Does anyone have any tips about how to get the cake out sucessfully? Ive got about half an hour to go!

Shake shake shake. Other than this I'm not too sure perhaps loosen the sides with a knife?
I'm sure it will be fine though, and sounds yum!0 -
I save all my butter wrappers for when I bake cakes in the bread machine (folded and put in a bag in the freezer if they're going to be around for a little while). They are just the right size: fold into quarters then snip a teeny bit of the centre "corner", unfold, place in base of bread pan

As you've already buttered the pan, it should slide out easily.
Enjoy your cake, sounds lovely :beer:0
