£39.99 + £5.89 Delivery.
Great printer, toner can be refilled easily.
Shame there's no Super Saver delivery on this though, but at least you should get it quick (as you're paying for delivery)

How do you refill this printer?
Isnt the 1610 one of the few that you cant refill easily?
I have a 1610 and the toner lasted 6 months of average use. A new toner costs about £40 so I may as well buy a whole new printer. Unless of course anyone can describe to me how to refill it0 -

Undo 2 screws on the end of the cartridge, end plate pulls off. There is a rubber bung underneath, prise out rubber bung, pour in toner, put bung back in, replace end plate and screws. 10 minute job.0

As far as I know all toners are worth to be considered as hazardous and cartridges should be filled wearing goggles, face mask and preferably not indoors ,if you drop any the O.H will give you hell as they are damned difficult to clean up.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I understand the printer comes with a "starter toner cartridge", capacity 1,000 sheets compared to 3,000 sheets for a full capacity replacement cartridge.
Can the starter cartridge be refilled to the "full capacity level" (3,000 sheets) or is the size of the toner reservoir restricted so that it can only take a reduced amount of toner. i.e. would I have to buy a new cartidge (approximately £40 to £50) and use it fully before I can start refilling?Money Saving Fan.0 -
I have this printer, very good it is too!
I also had to refill it after printing over 1200 on the original cartridge.
I ordered a toner refill kit, which included all required tools, etc to do the job, plus one toner refill.
It was a case of melting through the toner casing with the supplied hot melt tool, then refilling through this hole and using a supplied bung to seal it all up again.
Worked wonders, and now has the standard ~3000 sheet capacity for under £20 (kit plus toner). All I then need to do in the future is buy toner when needed!
