debts still going up with cccs

Should my husband go bankrupt he has been paying to cccs for 2 years and his debts are larger now than when he started he owes over £5000 to the co-op bank and they have refused to accept the agreement so are still carging interest which is a lot more than we are paying them so the debt is rising faster than we are paying it off
He isn't working due to disability and we rent our house he has a car on motabitity so they cant touch that should we go bankrupt at least it will be over in the next 12 months

he has the coop one and a visa one of about £200 the catalogue has been payed off0

thanks for the advice spoke to cccs and they agree that he'll be better with a debt releif order so they are sorting it out for us0

now all i have to do is sort mine problem is I have a car worth £1350 and need it to get to college as i go 3 days a week and cant get there on the bus0

How much debt are you talking about?

that was the worst price it's held it's walue well was only worth 15000 this time last year
my debts are £3000 credit card £2000 catalogue and about £700 edf0
